Parenting TSTransforms does not work (as expected)

When you parent a TSTransform to another, you expect it to follow that object around, maintaining its relative position to its parent. But the child TSTransform just ignores the parent and operates as if it is in world space.

Fairly often we will have 'reference' objects - for example, imagine a shooting game where the players control tanks. I would place a TSTransform at the end of the turret, so that I know where to spawn the projectile when the player fires.

Is this planned? Roadmap?

  • It is on our internal roadmap, but I couldn't give your a ETA for this one, because we have change a little bit our priorities. It is an expected feature for other devs too.
