I have a photon cloud app with 3000 CCU

Now i want to implement custom server logic, so i need to use Photon Server, what license should i buy, and how many servers/licenses will i need?

If i have 1 master server + 2 game servers do i need 3 licenses? and which CCU license should i buy?

Hi,

if you have 3 physical servers, you need 3 licenses, yes. You can also run the master + game server application in the same Photon instance and use only 2 servers.

In our experience, around ~10-20% of Photon Cloud users are on the master server, while the other 80-90% are on the game servers, so a smaller license might be sufficient for the master server. (Numbers might be different for your game, it depends on how your matchmaking works etc.)
