1. If we buy two 500-CCU one-time license and ExitGames releases Photon 4.0, will we get an upgrade pricing to move to Photon 4.0 server or free upgrade?
2. If we pay for a subscription license and ExitGames releases Photon Server 4.0, will we get a free upgrade to move over to Photon 4.0?
3. If we pay for a subscription license and then move to a one-time price later on, will the price paid on subscription qualify for less pricing?

#1: There will be an update price. If the timeframe between purchase and upgrade is not too long you will get it free of charge.
#2: Subscriptions always get the latest version.

100 CCU means 100 concurrent users, with an estimated 20,000 users in total for the month. Is that right?
How do you meter or check 100 servers redistributable?
Do you do:
- you tell customers, here - download the redistributable server and then download our server bits and then put them to the Photon Server redistributable package.
- you redistribute the server as part of the game's "Premium" or "Self-Hosted LAN party" package, thus, the Photon Server is part of the game package setup you provide?0 -
Yes. The "estimated monthly users" might differ, of course - it's only a little hint that should help you to make an estimation which license could fit for your project. Photon Server is part of the game package setup and will be delivered to the customer / gamer, who runs it's own self-hosted Photon server on his local machine, together with a special "distributable license". Each Photon will check the CCU limit by itself.0 -

The second option. You buy the server & license from us and distribute it to the gamers.0
