Loadbalancing is what is running on our public cloud (in case you've seen that already)
For documentation please have a look at:
- http://doc.exitgames.com/photon-cloud << general intro
- http://doc.exitgames.com/photon-cloud/P ... udvsServer << difference server vs. cloud
- http://doc.exitgames.com/photon-server/BasicConcepts << basic concepts apply to both cloud and server
- http://doc.exitgames.com/photon-server/BaseApplications << list of application you get in source code
- http://doc.exitgames.com/photon-server/LoadBalancing << app description/details
To your question
- Master: is responsible for the matchmaking
- GameServers: is responsible for hosting the games (rooms)
To save game data you'll have to make changes to the game server.
With "server2server" we mean the connection between Master and GamesServer.0
