what do I need authenticate for?

PUN 1.2 is awesome ).
Could you give some examples about what for the "authentication" feature can be used?

    I'll just list some ideas here. We're adding things to the documentation soon. With custom authentication you can:
    - integrate any community login within Photon and reject users without account
    - collect some stats about your users
    - send the client's version along and reject clients that are too old
    - whatever you come up with ;)
