Running Photon Server using VPN - Error

Hi, we are building an application to host a remote meeting session. We currently investigating using this with VPN on as security layer.
As soon as we enable VPN (NordVPN) we can´t access the room?
Is there any way around this? Or what do we miss?

Hi @Lostsomfan,
Not sure what is the error happening or at which point the connection to Photon Cloud fails through the VPN but unfortunately, in general, this is not supported as some ports need to be open for the client to communicate with Photon Cloud servers.
Besides, VPN will add delay.0 -

Ok, thanks. Can we set it up in another way using Photon? Is using our own server a plausible solution?
