Getting past iOS app review

I am using photon in my app and have people tested it (through TestFlight) in many parts of the world with no issue at all. But when I submitted my app for review, they always come back with the same issue (cannot test because not able to connect to the server).

I suspected that because I am located in Hong Kong, my app is always sent to the team in China for review, and hence the connection problem. I have tried explaining to them many times and have already excluded China in Apple Connect launch country list but of no avail.

I wonder if anyone has experienced this kind of issue before. Your help is much appreciated.

This is a known issue see here.

The suggested workaround is to use TCP and switch to UDP "remotely" once the app is reviewed.
