How many players can PUN support in a room at the same time?

I am developing an online shooter game. I am aiming for 32 player large rooms 16 players per team. Can Photon handle that load of players? Let me know anything that goes into account of performance. I have large based maps too, don’t know if that makes a difference or not. Let me know

There is a FAQ entry: "What is the maximum number of players supported by Photon rooms?"
If you are experienced with netcode, you may go for 32 players.
This is based on Network Culling via Interest Groups.
But this is not easy or for everyone.
Prototype early and do profiling/measurements/instrumentation all along.5
