PUN 2 - Friends List

Hello All, I'm happy to be here 
I'm coming to you for the first time because I'm having a little problem with the list of friends and PUN 2.
I find the example "CockPit" not well explained.
I wanted to know if a player could have the list in being in the lobby or you have to be in a room for that?
How do you add a friend to your list? I do not see any code anywhere in "Cockpit", just in names like "Jane", "Joe" but which are added in a pure line of code.
Do you have more explicit examples?

I had already seen this document but I just understand that the list friends in photon is not great, it really needs an outside service to have what I want but it would be really great that PUN2 has an update , where we can have the list of "Players" in the lobby, it would offer many possibilities0
