PUN and async games

I've been looking around online for tips on how to make an async, turn based game. I haven't found many recent answers but from what I've read, realtime and playfab was the way to go (about a year ago) and I was wondering if PUN supports async / persistent rooms yet? Or do i need to use the realtime sdk for unity for that? I need support for disconnects and rejoins without ending the room.

You can use both PUN or Realtime SDK to make asynchronous or turn-based games with persistent rooms.
You just need to take into consideration that some PUN specific high level features will not work as expected when the room is re loaded or re joined that's why we recommend against using them.
