Animation problem

Hi everyone, I'm encountering a problem while I try to play animations with PUN. I use an Animation component and I made a script to play animations and it works fine but the animation is not updated on PUN. I read tutorials and I don't understand what to do. People uses an Animator component, what is that? I still not understand the utility of that component. So, if someone could explain me how to fix it I would be thankful.
