How does it work between photon sever and realtime photon?

After reading the documentation, I have a question, between photon plugin sever will connect to the physical server, and realtime photon will connect to the cloud or physical sever, please help me understand

    it is difficult to understand what you are asking.

    Realtime client lib can connect to both Photon cloud and Selfhosted server.

    On Selfhosted server we can use plugins.
