Photon for MMORTS

Can photon be used for creating an MMO RTS game? It seems that it best suits MMORPG and Room style games.

sure it can, you can create any kind of applications you want. The room and mmorpg style are just those offered out of the box.

Question is always what you consider an MMO RTS cause in the end they are normally nothing but room style too as each combat between 2 players or player and "fictive ai driven" players would take place in a room too for example
