You don't have to adjust a lot, if your client is running on the same machine. Then 127.0.0.1:5055 can be used in your client code to connect to Photon. Check out the Realtime Demo for more.0 -

you need port forwarding only if you connect to your external IP (the one you get from your internet service provider).
Just noticed that Tobias wrote 127.0.0.1:055, he meant 127.0.0.1:5055.
Make sure your windows fire wall does not block the photonsocketserver.exe or the ports.
Look at the logs in the bin folder to check whether your server starts. The last entry in the photon-Instance1 log should say "service runnning....".0
