Hi, I'm game developer with marmalade and photon use for communication between players during a game. Everything works perfectly, my question is whether photon also provides a system to keep players rankings.
If so, could you direct me to any post or forum in which an idea of where to start? thank you very much.

Hi.
Photon does not provide social networking features like Leaderboards, but concentrates on realtime multiplayer features.
There are quite a few 3rd party social networking solutions out there.
You could have a look at those social sdks, which are officially supporting Marmalade as a platform:

At least for one of them, Scoreloop, I know, that it is providing leaderboards functionality:
