Does Photon Chat work across scenes in Unity?

I'm making a game where certain players in a room will be in a different scene but I want them to still be able to chat with one another. So my question is that if one player is in scene 1 and another player is in scene 2, can they still chat with each other through Photon Chat? (They'll be in the same room of course).

Yes, it works across scenes and is independent from rooms.
