Debugging Connection Errors

Good Morning!

We are starting a new project using BOLT and while some people are able to connect to each other, some are not with no clear error describing why.
Could someone please fill me in on how to log more information about why connections fail?

We switched to Fusion after contacting the team and haven't had issues connecting since.
