Audio distortion while moving

I am getting increasing audio distortion as my player speed increases while moving. Audio begins to sound like a speaker underwater.

After turning the audioSource Doppler setting to Off the distortion goes away.. of course .. loosing the Doppler effect as well

    and how audio distortion is related to PUN?
    maybe problem is how you play sound? or multiple audio sources are added?
    select object in inspector and check what is going on with audio source.

    turns out it is somehow related to the Doppler setting on the audio source... this setting works fine in a single player mode but in a Photon room the Oculus SDK might be up to something...(should have mentioned this was a VR project using Oculus Integration) I think it might be calculating the audio source parameters for each eye instead of the main camera.. or something having to do with the spatializer being used... it sounds as though two audio sources producing the same sounds are slightly out of sync.. which makes sense when moving at speed....... going to dig more... for now the audio works fine in ONE ear only if the Doppler setting is not in use.... but one ear sucks
