Synced object in scene

We are developing a VR multiplayer application using PUN2 and are currently struggling to have a simple cube's position and rotation synchronised between the host and clients.
The cube already in the scene (aka not instantiated)
Just adding a photonView and photonTransform only seems to work from the host to clients (as in the clients can see the host moving the cube but not visa versa).
I have also tried changing the owner of the cube to the one picking it up and reverting back to the scene when dropped. This seems to only happen locally and not be synchronised (when the host picks it up the clients still see the owner as "scene", but the host see "themselves" as owner. Same for clients: don't see the other clients/host as owner, but it changes when they are).
My question is how am I supposed to have an object in the scene that every player can interact with and the other players will see it move? What am I doing wrong?
