Sorry for the late response! The error message means that your license could not be validated against our "license monitor" web service (which needs to be done on every Photon startup).

Do you still see this problem? If yes, it is most likely that you are behind a firewall that blocks the outgoing traffic. Can you allow outgoing TCP connections on port 80 for Photon and see if it resolves the issue?

If you don't have internet access on your server, please conctact us for a hardware-bound license which does not need to be validated.

Thank you for your reply, I have replaced a new license, as it has expired, the problem no longer occurs. In addition, the example code if you can use the latest SDK to compile it?

You can use the latest server and client SDKs, of course. Photon 2 is not compatible with Photon 3 but if you stick to Photon 3 on client and server side, you're fine.
