Hello everyone

I signed up for photon cloud and then logged in and went to "My Applications". I saw the application ID there and saw a link to Photon Unity Networking asset and it had a link to a file i think it was of type unitypackage but when I click on the link it says

Server Error
404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

I was wondering if I needed to install the unity plugin from the unity site to access this link or maybe i'm doing something else wrong?

I don't see any instructions on how to access Photon Cloud which is why I am confused

Thank you very much!

Sorry for the confusion. It might be some dead link we overlooked.
On which page is the link that then shows you the 404 error message?

Photon Cloud is currently best used in conjunction with Unity and our "Photon Unity Networking" package. It's in Unity's asset store:

  • Thank you for your help!
The page is http://www.exitgamescloud.com/Dashboard the link is named Photon Unity Networking
but it only has the link when i'm logged in.
the url for the missing file is http://www.exitgamescloud.com/Content/d ... itypackage

I was a bit confused as to how photon cloud works. After I download the file will I be able to access documentation? I was planning on using photon cloud with mobile applications I was going to make.

    Thank you so much!

Yes, there is documentation in the package. Look out for a .pdf. It's not yet full blown but if you know Unity's networking, you should feel right at home.

Thanks for telling us about the link. It's (very) outdated. We removed this on the main page but obviously not in the dashboard.
  • Thanks for reporting the broken links. We've fixed them, they are redirecting to the Unity's asset store directly now.
  • Thank you so much! I appreciate it greatly!
