Why hardcode the paths?

The question says it all really, I want to move the bolt folder from the root(since I'm using the assembly definitions feature and I have to access Bolt from my game's scripts(while also accessing other parts - so both should be in the same assembly), but I can't because everything falls apart since the dll s, the project file, and who knows what else's path is hardcoded to Assets/bolt. Is there a practical reason for this? Based on the stagnation of the development I don't expect miracles, but is there any chance this will change in the near future?

  • Yes I have to say this IS annoying... Bolt is the only asset I use that is so stubborn about the location
