in Photon Server
Is windows 10 sufficient to run photon server? Not planning on running my project in a deployed invironment on windows 10 for that I may turn to windows server essentials.

    well, it depends on what task you are going to solve. for development there is no problem to use windows 10, for production it COULD be not enough.
    we use server software only. so, i can not say for sure. this is what you may find out your self

    Is Windows Server Essentials 2016 good enough for the server machine os?

    well, if you will be able to run PhotonSocketServer there (i believe you will be able), then yes.
