Photon Bolt v1.0.0.6 is Not Compatible with Unity 2017.1.0f3

Hi,
I am facing an issue with latest Bolt version (1.0.0.6) with latest Unity version (2017.1.0f3).
After doing Bolt -> Compile Assembly getting an error as below

Cannot open assembly '/Applications/Unity_2017.1.0/Unity.app/Contents/MonoBleedingEdge/lib/mono/2.0/gmcs.exe': No such file or directory.
UnityEngine.Debug:LogError(Object)

Can any one help me on this.

Comments

  • Install and try again
  • @stanchion yes I did still it is not working.
Besides this I am getting one macro issue for the files in Photon folder

    Assets/photon/PhotonLoadbalancingApi/Player.cs(117,16): error CS0104: `Hashtable' is an ambiguous reference between `System.Collections.Hashtable' and `ExitGames.Client.Photon.Hashtable'
  • Can you import the latest Bolt into a new project and try?
  • @stanchion I have installed latest Bolt version 1.0.0.6 but it still showing 1.0.0.4 debug in the Bolt->Assets window. How can I determine the correct Bolt version I have installed?
  • The Bolt Assets window shows you the Bolt version you're on
  • Downloaded Bolt 1.0.0.6 by downloading it from latest version of Unity (2017.1.0f3).

    When downloaded through Unity 5.6.0f3:
Bolt package file size: 7,76,86,014 bytes (77.7 MB on disk)
    Bolt version: v1.0.0.4 DEBUG

    When downloaded through Unity 2017.1.0f3:
Bolt package file size: 7,72,92,051 bytes (77.3 MB on disk)
    Bolt version: v1.0.0.6 DEBUG

@stanchion For some reason I was unable to download latest Bolt version from Older Unity. Is it something related to Asset Store or Unity version?
  • On the asset store it says
"Package has been submitted using Unity 5.5.0, and 5.6.1 to improve compatibility within the range of these versions of Unity."
You may get an older version if you're using an old version of Unity.
