Diagnosing Apple Apple store connect issues to photon server

We followed steps 'A' in the photon IPv6 guide:

Client tested successfully on the bridged NAT64 network, but app is being rejected during Apple exploratory testing for non-functionality most likely due to connect failure, but we can't confirm due to the absence of client logging. Server logs are detailed for other tests, but empty for apple tests. Playfab calls work fine from the client.

A little background: unity mobile app; Photon Server 4.0.29; playfab users and logging; windows server in Azure.

My sense is that either something changed since IPv6 testing; the client never actually tested IPv6; or that article is invalid. I've recommended the client remediate missing client error&trace logging to PlayFab and resubmit to Apple, but hate that answer. Any suggestions?
