DNS Resolution - Cloud Servers

My dev team is using the address app.exitgamescloud.com in our games, he told me that this address resolves the "best" server for connection. (Like some geo aware dns resolution)

In the dashboard I can only see the EU zone with clients, and resolving this address on some diferent locations always gave me the EU addr (apps-eu).

Is his assumption true?

    IP-based location resolution is planned but not a working feature yet. So, yes, at the moment you will always end up on the EU servers with this address.
    At the moment you could only manually pick from a range of locations. E.g. by user input or per deploy (regional releases).
