Two players connecting at same time, only one slot left

Hello, my rooms have a custom property for each player slot, in order to search for empty slots from the lobby. Once in the room, the player change the custom property value. The problem is that there are several frames before the player changes the value, so other players still see the empty slot and join the room, but there are no more slots so... Any ideas?
