"Party invites" via Photon

Hey there,
i have a working Friends list wich i want to expand by a party-system. So one player A can invite another player B from his friends list to a party. The problem i have is: How do i notify B of the invitation from A when they are in no lobby and/or room?
I only found rather old posts from 2013-15 about this topic stating that this is somewhat beeing worked on but nothing more. Does anyone know the status on this?

At present there is now option to do so you can use photon chat to do so, with your friend id send him private message and which he will receive in void OnPrivateMessage(string sender, object message, string channelName). You can send json as content and show challenge popup when you receive private message about challenge.
