PhotonServer license issue (wrong server quantity)

We have ordered licensee for 2 separate servers:

But server quantity in photon server launcher still show us "Server Quantity: 1":

We have problem in production:
Server with Hardware ID: 5D92-C931-B9B5-91FE-0A1C-4234 works good
but
Server with Hardware ID: 2116-9E5C-A63C-5503-A556-51B4
works only with small CCU (I am not sure, but it probably something like 10 or 20 users?)

Another strange thing - license file stays the same (byte-to-byte comparsion) after we ordered new license.

Questions:
1. Is it OK to see Server quantity = 1 in photon launcher in our case?
2. Where and what we have to look up in logs to detect problems with license? Could you provide us an example of message about license problems?

  • Hi,

please get back at developer@photonengine.com and we will sort that out. However, we already see two machines using your license.

    as quick answers here
    1. yes, PhotonControl showing some other quantity is ok (this does not reflect your actual subscription)
    2. basically everything where you find a reference to "license"

    make sure to
    1. only have one license file in the Photon folder
    2. restart Photon (not PhotonControl) after exchanging the license file

Necro bump, but @ the top of Google and super relevant:

Where exactly do you place this license file? :) /bin_Win64/ ?

EDIT 1: *seems* like /bin_Win64/ did the trick
    EDIT 2: Ah, nope:

SocketTcpAsync.EndReceive SocketException. State: Connected. Server: '192.168.0.10' ErrorCode: 10054 SocketErrorCode: ConnectionReset Message: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

    Logs show:

Connection limit reached, peer will disconnect after handshake completes
  • Yes, the folder the used PhotonSocketServer.exe is located in.
